Short Description of Activity
A march to protest the uranium mill near the White Mesa Utes’ land.
Reflection/Evaluation
This march has taken place for the last 5 years to draw attention to the plight of the people and animals living near this mine. Many people have been sickened, including having cancer due to contamination of the land and water from the mine. Several media outlets attended, so the issue is reaching an audience.
