Short Description of Activity
Monthly Water Sentinels to measure waterflow and sediment levels on the Upper Verde River at Perkinsville, Bear Siding, and Verde Springs. Crew Jenny, Leader with Russ, Denny, and David.
Reflection/Evaluation
Perkinsville 13.8 cfs; Bear Siding 18 cfs; and Verde Springs no flowing water to measure. Granite Creek meets the confluence but barely, Stillman Lake overgrown. Usual pools of water going downstream. Water at our 40-foot spot narrower this month. All three sites are different every month, year-to-year. Trend in over 17 years these three sites have been measured continues to be downward with continuing development and agriculture. For photographs see my Facebook page.
