Short Description of Activity
Monitored along the eastern edge of WSA along Devil’s Thumb Rd. Stopped in three parking areas and cleaned up. The first two parking lot areas were in good shape with little new trash. The third parking area however had been heavily used for target shooting, leaving a wooden table top that had been used as a target and many shell casings littering the ground. In addition, someone had left five large tattered trash bags in a small water related building. The trash was removed for disposal except for the table top that was too large. Reports were written for this visit and for November’s visit for BLM and submitted.
Reflection/Evaluation
Goal is to monitor this area, keep it cleaned up,and to inform BLM about the status of the area and any needs. This was accomplished.
