Short Description of Activity
Broadbands were asked to host public events to make cards and ornaments to send to legislators in Washington DC. The purpose of the cards and ornaments were to send a message to protect old-growth forests,
Reflection/Evaluation
One of our leaders owns a scrapbook/greeting card making company and she took this on in a big way. We didn’t get a large turnout, although the event was publicized in our weekly email, online community calendar and flyers around town. Still, a dozen attendees worked hard and made 92 cards or ornaments.
