Short Description of Activity
This hike followed the Canal Creek Campout and there were lots of things to talk about. Additionally it was scheduled to commemorate /celebrate National Public Lands Day. This is a gorgeous hike that goes through majestic old growth forests and offers views of 13 Volcanoes from the peak. We had a beautiful day…but if anyone is reading this…here’s a good laugh: when we arrived on the top, there were 35 children between the ages of 6-8! There’s a .5 mile walk from a parking lot to the top!!
Reflection/Evaluation
A great hike and a great opportunity for conversation and follow up about issues discussed during the campout.
