Short Description of Activity
continued to attend meetings of the Broads Grazing Collaborative and the GMUG Coalition. Worked with both groups to submit 3 Final Plan objection letters on 5 topics- grazing reform, protections from drones, Bighorn sheep should be Species of Conservation Concern, and more protections for Bear Creek and Hayden Mountain. We know that other Broadband members also send in separate individual objections on grazing and plant species protections. One Broadband member also wrote the drone objection section for the GMUG Coalition objection letter.
Reflection/Evaluation
Preparing and submitting objections was a new activity for the Broadband members, so it look lots of work to prepare the proper format of the documents. The GMUG Coalition, especially member Rocky Smith, were essential as mentors. It was great that other Broadband members also submitted objections, but not clear how to collect hours and submit those hours.
