Short Description of Activity
Reviewed and wrote scoping letters to the BLM regarding proposed 4 lane highway bisecting a Congressionally designated Red Cliffs National Conservation Area.
Reflection/Evaluation
With short notice, able to generate several letters to encourage protection of key Mojave desert tortoise habitat and avoid setting precedent of allowing major road construction within an NCA.
