Short Description of Activity
Developing plan for kicking off this Campaign. Bitterbrush has been involved with the Owyhee Canyon Lands protections for a long time, but now National is on board and next steps is to get the rest of Oregon on board with the campaign. Some of that entails educating everyone of the importance and significance.
Reflection/Evaluation
Reviewed strategies and what next steps are. Who can do what, contacts any of us might have and how to roll this out. A wonderful video has already been developed and will be shared with the public. Mary is looking at boating associations she knows that could support these efforts due to floating on the Owyhee River. Also looking at other ways to engage the public. A suggestion was made to bring this information to the upcoming Broads Rendezvous in Washington later this spring and looking at other ways to get the word out.
