Short Description of Activity
Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation asked for volunteers to staff tables near popular backcountry skiing access points to educate skiers on the importance of avoiding areas set aside for Bighorn sheep in winter. The BTNF is hoping to avoid more stringent protections for the small and easily-spooked herd, and educating recreationalists might make some difference.
Reflection/Evaluation
Most recreationalists and tourists appeared interested and showed concern for the herd.
