Short Description of Activity
Meet with one state senator and one representative to discuss the need to restore the Great Salt Lake. Our number one point of discussion was using conservation as the quickest method to see immediate results as opposed to augmentation that will take years to make a difference. We don’t have years.
Reflection/Evaluation
We were happy to get meetings with both of our elected officials and one actually sat with us for 20 minutes. They were respectful of our position although didn’t necessarily agree.
