Lots of interesting facts: .02% of grazing jobs contribute to jobs, adds nothing to local economy.
With overgrazing, roots decline and plants die, let alone the invasive weed species that flourish.
In regards to the meat industry, they would have you believe the importance of livestock but the industry or selling of meat products is changing. There is a new push for regenerative grazing but that has to be looked at closely to make sure that is what is actually going on. Agencies do not do a good job with holding ranchers/permittees accountable for the damage that is being done.
