Short Description of Activity
Lorena, Barb, Kris and Laurie attended the Rally for Salmon in Olympia, Wa.
Reflection/Evaluation
We heard from some excellent speakers with the exception of Bill Moyers who spoke about rail. Kris was a new Broad and she was totally engaged in the rally and said it was very informative for her. I especially enjoyed hearing from the 20-something named London who appears to be a mover and a shaker and spoke quite eloquently and with fervor about salmon and species extinction. We walked through the halls of the capital building and had lunch at the cafeteria. The weather remained dry until our drive home. Barb had picked up the signs and we proudly held them in the air. There were about 70 people from all around Washington at the rally.
