Short Description of Activity
Wrote and submitted comments related to the amendments to the Grand Junction Area Field office RMP and the Grand Valley Field Office RMP =3 hours. Attended CONPS meeting and advocated for the use of native plants in yards and other places within the town. = 1 hour. Attended and participated in Colorado Leaders call.=1 hour.
Reflection/Evaluation
The comments for needed revisions on the RMP’s for both field offices were easy to write as the need is great.
Native Plant society meeting was already planning to have a discussion about the value and use of native plants , and I was able to add comments about the success we have had in using native plants on BLM lands and of state parks.
