Short Description of Activity

The Teton County WY and Teton County ID Boards of Commissioners held a joint meeting to share information and concerns about the proposed expansion farther into the National Forest. The revenue from the resort expansion will benefit Teton Co. WY but most of the socioeconomic impacts will be felt in Teton Co. ID.

Reflection/Evaluation

The draft EIS, after 2 ears of delay, may be released this spring. This will be an advocacy focus for the WHALES at that time, because of potential impacts on wildlife, water supply, population growth and integrity of the nearby Jedediah Smith Wilderness Area.
