Short Description of Activity
Continuing our 2024 focus on the Great Salt Lake, we did a spring field trip the visit the Spiral Jetty, an earthwork sculpture created in 1970. We walked on the artwork, sat on the rocks, and waded to the lakeshore.
Reflection/Evaluation
Five of us made the 90-minute journey to the lake and after our walk and hike, discussed the history of the artwork and the north end of the lake.
