Short Description of Activity
We gathered at Oak Flat in support of Apache Stronghold’s continuing fight against the Rio Tinto Resolution Copper Mine that would destroy this area. We also drove up to Gaan Canyon.
Reflection/Evaluation
How sad that this fight continues as we await a reversal of the unconscionable legislation that created this situation by Congress.
I was the only member of the Sonoran Broadband attending this year, although Jenny Cobb of Yavapaii Prescott and Dre Hoerr and her spouse from Tucson were there. I assume they filed their own activity report.
