Short Description of Activity
Think Wild Wildlife Rehabilitation Center gave a broadchat presentation last year and invited us to come visit their facility.
Reflection/Evaluation
I have visited this facility when they first opened, so it was great to see how much more they have grown as far as more buildings to accomodate more wounded or abandoned wildlife. Sadie, the volunteer coordinator, gave us the run down of what kinds of critters they can and can’t take and how they work closely with ODFW. We got the tour and then spent some time doing stewardship by pulling weeks in an area designed for pollinators. I applaud the work they are doing and I think some that attended may decide to volunteer there as well.
