Short Description of Activity
Tabling at Sustainability Festival on Earth Day. We used Broads Wilderness handouts, Forest Service maps of local wilderness areas, and kids games. We also had a wilderness quiz.
Reflection/Evaluation
Weather was snowy and cold, so we had to be prepared with winter gear, but we tried to make it fun. It was uplifting to see so many local organizations working for conservations. Our goal was wilderness education and leave not trace ethics, plus to provide info. about the Broads. The goal was met.
We probably had too many materials on the table. There was a sign up sheet with over 10 persons interested in more info. After the event they were emailed with Broads info. and our contact information.
