Work I did alone to prepare for April Get Acquainted Meeting
Reflection/Evaluation
Contacted Terry Kock re renting room, got flyers from here, posted flyers throughout Palmer, posted flyer on my Facebook pages and Palmer and Matanuska Valley Facebook pages (they got a lot of attention). Facebook seems like a good medium to advertise meetings etc, but I got some response from the flyers throughout town as well. Although we advertised in Anchorage as well, we only had one or two attendees from there. Terry Koch, an Alaska Soles Member, was instrumental in getting people to the meeting by designing and printing the brochures and by personally inviting some folks she knew that she thought would be a good fit.
