Short Description of Activity
We met with Sally for a leadership team meeting, Loren and Sally at Loren’s in Palmer, Kathy and Kirstie by ZOOM.
Reflection/Evaluation
Sally went over many things with Kirstie that would be new to her as a new leadership team member. We decided to try having monthly meetings such as this and scheduled the next one for Jan. 25. Sally reviewed all of the Regional Coordinators and their areas, and the other staff such as Audry (advocacy person). She discussed how the national office could be support, including covering the cost of the next meeting and how our funding account works, including getting $5 for each new member, and then we could fund raise, ask for grants etc. She told us that we could have free memberships to give out and we discussed seeing if Peg Tiliston was still an active member and awarding her one if not. WE also discussed the future meeting we are planning. We were happy to hear that Methane was becoming a big issue for the Broads as Loren and Kathy had been pushing this problem for a few years now. We also discussed the Colorado meeting in October. Sally would like to schedule a Website Tour act our next meeting, making it a 2 hour meeting.
The meeting was followed up with a hike with Sally and Loren and Sally’s husband, and then lunch at Loren’s, when many many issues were discussed and many laughs were had!
