Sent email to Inside Climate News to let them know about the Great Old Broads for Wilderness

I sent a letter to Inside Climate News. In a recent article they mentioned the Climate Grannies and some other organizations so I wanted to make them aware of the Great Old Broads for Wilderness!
Here is my note to them, submitted through their web site:
This is not really a correction, but your recent article on the Climate Grandmas left out mention of a nation wide group that has been fighting climate change for over 35 years. Great Old Broads for Wilderness (greatoldbroads.org), a women led grassroots organization, has 3 guiding principals; to keep public land in public hands, to keep wild lands wild and the wilderness act intact, and to make public lands part of the solution to climate change. Much of the Broads’ work is related to reducing or eliminating activities on public lands that contribute to climate change. We aim to do this work using education, advocacy, and stewardship, all while maintaining a sense of humor and fun. We hope to invoke discussions, not battles, even while we do ‘battle’ many of the projects that threaten our planet. We have chapters or ‘Broadbands’ in numerous states. I am a co-leader of the Alaska Soles Broadband and we have been fighting the battle up here since 2019. Look us up!
