Short Description of Activity
We held this meeting via Zoom. We had invited Audrey Glendenning from our National Office to give a short presentation to our group on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). After Audrey’s presentation, we discussed our advocacy work with the Center for Responsible Forestry to save the Legacy Forests in our state.
Reflection/Evaluation
Zoom participants included twelve Broads from our Broadband as well as Audrey and me. I had heard
Audrey present on NEPA at the National Leadership Rendezvous last September, which I attended. I was impressed with Audrey’s presentation then, and I was equally impressed with her presentation to our Broadband. Audrey did a great job of helping our Broads understand the basics of NEPA as well as its limitations and challenges. We recorded Audrey’s presentation and emailed it to any interested Broads who could not attend our meeting on January 18th.
After Audrey’s presentation we discussed our work to date on saving Legacy Forests. See the attached minutes for details.
