Reflection/Evaluation
One of the highlights was a tour of a new technique being tryed out at a large state park that washes the undercarriage of vehicles prior to using trails to avoide bringing in invasive weeds. We also toured the re-opening of the Historical Lewis and Clark Expedition Center – pretty impressive. One of the more interesting things was that there was no representation from the Forest Service for Wallowa, Whitman and Blue Mt. Members of the RAC were pretty unhappy about that as we all had a lot of questions for them, specifically about the new management plan and East Side Screens.
