Short Description of Activity

Hike about 5 miles round trip to view three main falls of Wychus Creek; discuss fire ecology; discuss Rivers Democracy Act; discuss water supply and diversions in light of climate change.

Reflection/Evaluation

Great hike overall. Almost everyone completed the full 5 miles, except for one who waited at first Falls (due to recent knee surgery and roughness of final 1.5 miles). Fielded many questions about natural history and current and pending local Wild and Scenic Rivers legislation.
