Short Description of Activity
Lorena, Linda, Laurie, Lynn Fox, Rosanne, and Bondi met with Tyson Cross, Mt Adams Climbing and Wilderness ranger over zoom to go over any questions and review of procedures for the solitude monitoring project this summer.
Reflection/Evaluation
We had some interest with the project but, unfortunately, most of the people on the call were unable or unwilling to commit their time to the project. I will try to fill some slots with some others who were not on the call. We did have a new Broad, Lynn Fox, who was very interested and willing to go out with us. She even set up a coffee /hike to meet us in August! We still are in need of 10 sessions of monitoring for this season and July is pretty much gone! The FS did say they may be able to reserve a campspot at Cultus Creek Campground over the Labor Day weekend.
I still need to get the maps and practice using the INREACH before I go out. I will see if there is a UTUBE video for Inreach.
