Short Description of Activity
First meeting for creating a National level forest Brat. Initial meeting was to start to outline what this could look like, who is interested and what are folks interested in discussing with these meetings. What are our commonalities.
Reflection/Evaluation
Some of the discussion focused around the Forest Service Amendments as well and the NW Forest Plans and coming up with a National position on these two. While some issues are regional in nature need to see where we all can agree on issues. I brought up the issues/concerns for biomass and will report out at next meeting. National will be creating some bullit points for members to respond to when discussing these issues with others. It was also brought up that the issue of Old Growth can be different from region to region, so that is what we are looking at how to address these issues globally.
