Short Description of Activity
Discussion of what broadband leaders would like to have in the National comments regarding the MOG forest amendment. We are waiting for bullit points to get info out to our membership as well as the Forest/River BRAT.
Reflection/Evaluation
National has asked all chapters not to sign onto any petitions or collorborations with comments regarding MOG. While this meeting primarily had members from the Pacific NW…the idea is to have comments be more generalized to represent all chapters across the US. This could be challenging due to differences in how forests are handled in different areas. I personally want BIO -mass to be addressed because it is coming the PNW but already has huge impacts in the southern states. Everyone shared their biggest concerns and National is supposed to get something out to all of us by the end of the week??? To this date have not seen any bullit points.
