Short Description of Activity
The Deschutes County draft of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan is out for the Commissioners to vote on.
Reflection/Evaluation
Our county Commissioners continue to not listen to concerns that citizens have for the county, specifically conservation groups. Their language on how to deal with our limited water supply is one issue as well as the continued support of destination resorts. I sent a letter addressing these issues as well as concerns regarding the location of our potentially landfill- which will require an EA and doesn’t have a lot of support from BLM.
