Attended sites within the Baldy Mountain veg treatment project (which includes private lands as well as BLM and USFS lands) that had been masticated and treated with prescribed fire.
Reflection/Evaluation
Always a great experience to attend these site visits as Broads can ask questions of state and federal agency personnel and learned much about the approach to and regulations related to prescribed burns. Particularly of interest was seeing how much disturbance or not was impacting the visual values as well as soils, vegetation etc.
