Short Description of Activity
WHALES gather in late summer to share a meal and celebrate the summer season of activities. I drew names from the 21 women who hiked more than 60 miles this summer (for Wilderness Act anniversary) and the lucky 9 were very happy with their Broads swag. Thank you!
Reflection/Evaluation
We make a point of inviting everyone, including those who no longer participate in recreational activities. I particularly enjoy meeting some of the women I’ve recently added to the group and seeing them start to make new friends. I spoke about Great Old Broads and the importance of supporting the organization by becoming members.
