Short Description of Activity

Monitor the Blue Lakes trail within the wilderness boundary for a minimum of 4 hours.

Reflection/Evaluation

Quieter time of year so numbers are lower than earlier in the season plus, not a weekend. There is definitely the need for a permit system for people to camp at the lake. E Coli is present due to all the human waste from campers and the rain. Permit system to begin in 2025 or 2026. Lots of wear and tear on the landscape near the lake.
