Short Description of Activity
As the Conservation Organization members on the WSOA, Sallie continues to represent Broads and other organizations on the CPW-funding alliance for the three counties of Mesa, Montrose and Delta. Balancing wants for recreation need to always be balanced with needs of wildlife and habitat.
Reflection/Evaluation
WSOA is progressing slowly, mostly due to lack of time for anyone agency to coordinate a three-county group. In July, we were informed we got the CPW $250,000 grant to support a coordinator position for 2 years. This person was hired in August, so the group should be jump started.
