Short Description of Activity
We joined Robyn With the Northern San Juan Broadband who was able to secure a FREE jeep ride up to animas forks. From there we hiked down to a transect that needed to be measured for coverage frequency. We then hiked down anothert 2.5 miles to a good camp location and searched with our binoculars for Big Horn Sheep but we did not spot any. We hike down to the Bear Creek Trailhead Friday and again saw no Big horn sheep. Dan Parkinson was able to engage a few hikers and a hunter to also look for this elusive creatures and report on the website if/when they were spotted.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal is always to have fn and be save. I would say YES we met our goals eventhough we were disappointed in not spotting any BHS.
