Short Description of Activity

We hiked mostly off trail to look for 4 campsites, found 3 of 4 and documented their location and condition.

Reflection/Evaluation

We also found 4 new sites and documented them. We looked for “Preacher’s cabin and did not find a sign of it in the area it is marked on the map. Campsite monitoring is like a treasure hunt, using an app to locate campsites and a spreadsheet to record conditions:
bare area, vegetation loss, fire rings, developments, root damage or tree mutliations, and how many other campsites are in view.
