Short Description of Activity
We kicked of this activity in June and it ended on September 3. We wanted to honor the passage of the Wilderness Act and it’s 60th anniversary with a hiking/paddling challenge, awarding prizes at various benchmarks.
Reflection/Evaluation
We had 10 registered hikers/paddlers and few who did the hiking without logging miles. We were hoping to see a few more new faces with this challenge. Participants were pretty much those we were already familiar with. Overall, I would deem the challenge a success. We will be awarding participants their prizes at our autumn social on September 27.
