Short Description of Activity
Bondi, Darlene, and Laurie met at Roche Harbor, Wa for a leadership retreat.
Reflection/Evaluation
We started out and walked around the venue and explored the grounds and the trails. We shared a potluck dinner and unpacked. Tuesday morning we attended the Whale Museum tour and explored Friday Harbor. Then we came back for lunch and discussed the agenda items until dinner. Wednesday we did a stewardship project of pulling Scot’s Broom at Grant’s Preserve, a preserve which is open to the public on San Juan Island. Then we explored the Lime Kiln Point State Park and English Camp on San Juan Island. Thursday Darlene had to leave so Bondi and I hiked the Jakle’s Lagoon–Mount Finlayson Loop hike to Cattle Point Lighthouse and back. Friday morning we headed to the ferry back to Anacortes, Wa. It took us 11 hours to get home due to construction and traffic along I-5.
