Short Description of Activity
A weekly email is sent to our members to organize outdoor recreational activities, alert members to comment period deadlines, websites for management plans, and links to significant environmental issues that affect our region. We also inform members of ways that they can become involved in the community, by volunteering with other nonprofit organizations in Teton Valley. Activity reports are tracked throughout the month and are filed at the end of the month.
Reflection/Evaluation
We continue our summer/fall activities as long as weather permits. We also remain active as community volunteers. (We recently held a sucessful non-partisan “Get out to vote” postcard-writing event with the Citizen’s Climate Lobby)….The weekly email is an important tool to organize gatherings and inform members about local and regional conservation issues.
