Short Description of Activity
This end of the season activity included apple picking and pressing, good conversation, and awards and recognition for the participants in the 2024 Wilderness Act hiking and paddling challenge. We had a lovely evening in the orchard at Di Allison’s and enjoyed dining together under the apple trees. Watch out, one might fall on your head!
Reflection/Evaluation
We had 13 participants with one being one of the original Broad members and one person a first-time meeting. Together our 11 challenge participants paddled 424 miles and hiked 391.4. We concluded it was a successful event.
