Short Description of Activity

Monthly flow monitoring on the Upper Verde River at Perkinsville, Bear Siding, and Verde Springs

Reflection/Evaluation

River is very low. At Verde Springs Granite Creek no water, creek does not meet confluence, confluence dry and overgrown with vegetation. Jenny and Russ hike downstream in the riverbed and did not reach water. We hiked downstream where we monitor water and it was exceptionally low. Perkinsville 9.76, Bear Siding 9.25, Sediment level 30 at Perkinsville, 15 in the irrigation ditch. Clear to the bottom at Bear Siding which means in the 7 miles between sites, sediment picked up.
