Short Description of Activity
Members of our Broadband demonstrated in two locations – in Salem at the Capitol Bldg & Eugene at the Lane County Courthouse in a statewide show of support for designating the Owyhee Canyon Lands as a National Monument.
Reflection/Evaluation
The group that gathered in Salem was frustrated by the lack of information & planning prior to the event that would have alerted them to the fact that the Capitol bldg is undergoing renovations and the entire area was blocked off. The group in Eugene was able to meet with some key people and felt their time was well spent.
