Outcome 1: Advocacy actions (250 letters/postcards)

Short Description of Activity

This was the second postcard event we attended this fall, but the first we organized ourselves, for our members. Our 250 postcards will be sent to inactive voters in MT who have shown interest in environmental issues. Their political affiliations are unknown, and the message simply encourages them to become regular voters, and ask their friends and family to do the same.

Reflection/Evaluation

I was pleased with the turnout, and we were able to complete all our cards in 2 hours. Everyone who came was very positive about being able to contact potential voters in a nonpartisan way. It is difficult to get these cards now, so we probably will not be doing another event.
