Short Description of Activity
Beginning process to figure out what we want to discuss and share strategies with other broadbands. Utilizing the Forest BRAT model but on a national level.
Reflection/Evaluation
Looking at how we can have a coordinated effort for National comments. Discussion about how decisions are made and want that there are more grassroots efforts. Upcoming issues are the NW Forest Plan, topics about biomass/biochar/biodiesel and impacts on mass timber extraction. Looking at Federal Forest Planning/policy. Also someone brought up air pollution and if there needs to be a policy for addressing that? In writing forest policy it is important to reference west forest and eastern forestes/ dry forests and wet forests.
