Monthly Leadership team meeting with a breakfast before to just catch up with each other.
Reflection/Evaluation
Whew…. we had so much to cover. Discussion regarding transition with National, discussion regarding the 35th anniversary conference, outlined upcoming broadchats, spent a lot of time reviewing all the advocacy work we are doing which encompasses : Owyhee, local county issues, biomass/biochar, Blue Mt. Forest Plan, Pacific NW Forest Plan amendment, North Fork Crooked Project on Ochoco NF, Grazing BRAT upcoming meeting for region 6, Oregon Wild and River Democracy Act, aftermath of elections, and NF of Malhuer. Looking to hopefully do some stewardship projects next year but not sure how much damage the fires did. Discussed broadwalks nationally and regionally for 2025 and Scott let us know that the next beginning of hike will be December 12th.
