Part of a lecture series put on by the Fort Vancouver Libraries and Clark College covering a variety of topics to bring awareness of multi cultural issues.
The theme of this talk: Native American? Indigenous? Indian? What do you know about Tribes?- Presented basic understanding of American Indian tribal histories, tribal sovereignty, federal trust responsibility, tribal rights, and historical trauma and the impact of tribal politics, culture, Indian law, tribal jurisdiction and values.
