Short Description of Activity
Broads visited mature forest areas in the Willamette National Forest that may be threatened under changes to the Northwest Forest Plan. We used a form to collect information about the trees and plants present, and our location. Everyone practiced measuring trees and recording data on the form. We plan to use this information in writing comments on the NWFP amendment this winter.
On this trip, 6 of us split up between 2 cars and we visited 3 different sites.
Reflection/Evaluation
This was the 3rd forest visit with this purpose and it went pretty well. We found some good sites to record info about and we practiced skills. Now we just need to incorporate the info into our comments.
