Reflection/Evaluation
We did reach our goal, but at first started out on the wrong/too long trail which was an error by All Trails. Other hikers we met helped put us on the correct route. We also used apps and the prior experiences in the area by our members to find our way. Scouting out the area where trees and other plants grow led us to the site of the spring! We also noticed a ravine where a waterfall might occur. We monitored the spring and sent the information on to data bases through the 123 and spring seeker apps. We also encounter a large burnt area.
