Short Description of Activity

4Corners Broadband is in the process of planning our first Regional Broadwalk. I have been relationship building with Mr. Clifford and Mr. Joe for almost 20 years. They are school district and national consultants concerning Navajo history, culture, environment, and arts. So I’m really excited to offer this cultural sharing opportunity to Great Old Broads for Wilderness members. It will be a Botanical/Geological/Cultural Adventure to places on the Navajo Nation where you need a guide to visit. We’ll have historical/anti-nuclear/and cultural campfire talks. And participants will leave with a sketchbook of watercolor memories with professional artistic guidance by Baatsoslanii Eugene B. Joe.

Reflection/Evaluation

This is something I’ve wanted to offer for a long time. I was confused between National and Regional Broadwalks and so it took me awhile to get the right parameters to fit a Broadwalk on the Navajo Nation. I’m excited to bring this cultural sharing, relationship building, fun, adventure to intrepid Broads! And I already know several people who want to sign up.
