Short Description of Activity

The Southern Rockies Conservation Alliance send out information on their list serve about the proposed Lower-North-South fuel reduction project on the Pike-San Isabel National Forest. The project could impact some roadless areas, impact habitat for 4 species on the ESA, and propose treatment in higher elevation areas that do not have excessive fuel and are not near communities. I reviewed the draft letter and signed on to the letter for our Broadband. .

Reflection/Evaluation

It is nice to be part of a group that has expertise in many different areas. Not sure if our comments make a difference in fuel treatment decisions by FS, but important to keep commenting.
