Total Hours 17

Key Issue: Water-related Conservation
Activity Type: Stewardship (monitoring, sampling, planting, etc.)
Key Partners: Clallam County Conservation District, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe

Measurable Outcomes

Outcome 1: Plants planted (50 )

Short Description of Activity

Plant native trees along free-flowing Elwha River to improve salmon habitat post dam breaching, especially to benefit critically endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales.

Reflection/Evaluation

Planting was accomplished. Only having 2 Broads participants after extensive outreach is disappointing, but at least something. And these 2 are new Broads, energetic and motivated, so I think they will help engage others.
