Short Description of Activity
I volunteered to serve on the Transition Development Committee to help raise money for Broads National. I attended the first meeting of the Development Committee on December 16, 2024. At that meeting, I volunteered to call ten major donors and ask them for a gift before the end of the year. I competed these calls on 12/27/24.
Reflection/Evaluation
My calls went well. Most people did not answer the phone so I had to leave messages. We are still waiting for the final tally of the money we raised before the end of the year. The Committee’s goal was $250,000. We think we raised about $235,000 so we’ve done well so far. I plan to continue serving on the Transition Development Committee.
